scrollwork fleur-de-lis
Ever since New Orleans began its recovery following Katrina, the fleur-de-lis has been a very popular subject for ice sculptures especially at weddings. This version features an intricate scrollwork pattern, but there are many other possibilities. Check the nola sculpture page for some other New Orleans-themed ideas!

(a luge is a sculpture that incorporates a tube or channel for liquid, usually martinis or something similar, to be poured through)
Luges have been wildly popular over the last few years and this design gives it a New Orleans touch. This double luge sculpture often decorates a martini bar at area wedding receptions.
