Here we have the uncut ice block (Cleinbell refers to the process used to make the block) before the template is applied and the carving begins. This block will be used for the lower portion of the eagle. Smaller pieces will be used for the top of the wings and the head. All carving is done in the freezer at about twenty degrees Fahrenheit.
