Dawson has used an electric saw to rough cut the outline of the carving and he's now using the tip of the saw to cut detail lines into the front of the carving. As the saw is somewhat loud, Dawson is wearing ear protection under his hat and wearing eye protection and heavy gloves in case of flying pieces of ice or possibly broken chainsaw parts (occasionally, the chain will break during carving). The dots on the photo is snow on the camera lens sprayed around the freezer by the saw.
