Here, we've jumped ahead a few steps as Dawson uses a Dremel tool with a specialized bit to apply small detail to the head of the eagle. The steps we've skipped included: 1) filling the engraved portions of the shield with white snow 2) carving the head of the eagle 3) freezing the head of the eagle in place 3) applying the red and blue plastic parts of the shield 5) freezing a piece of ice over the front of the shield to hold the plastic in place 6) Removing the remainder of the template and detailing the rest of the sculpture.
